The international player for Spain has attended the media that have gathered at the Poliesportiu Municipal and has assured that he is really looking forward to starting the season: “The team has already started it and I really want to show the Ferran Torres that I am. I am sure that this season we will see my best version”.

Ferran has once again expressed his love for Valencia CF: “It’s my home and it’s the club that has given me everything”. In addition, he has also had time to review the current situation of FC Barcelona and has been convinced that they are going to fight for everything: “I have confidence in the people of the team, in the signings that may arrive. It is clear that we are a young group, but I am confident in our options”.

The human behind the athlete

Like every year, the international has shared experiences and games in his campus. Ferran has had time for all the groups of children present there, also for the residents of the town who have come.

The IV Campus Ferran Torres is directly associated with the footballer’s values: learning through sport, environmental education and awareness of responsible animal ownership. “I am very happy to be here in Foios, at home, doing this Campus, today I have come to the most important thing, spending a day with the children, making them smile seeing how they have fun, how they have a good time. In addition, we also want them to see how I am beyond football, with sustainability, with the care of animals and see if in one way or another these positive values can be instilled in them”.

Among the extra-sports activities carried out during the week a ‘beach clean-up’ at Foios beach was included, in which 26 kilos of waste and plastic have been collected, in an action carried out together with the Kick Out Plastic foundation, of which the footballer is an ambassador.
